Great work! LOVE to see aspiring artists sharing their work and how they do it. Keep it up!

Baarmaboi responds:

Thanks. I most definitely will.

AMAZING as always Doki! The shocking nature of your work draws the senses and gets people thinking critically about the world around them and the forces that move it. This is just my interpretation but I feel the cream is actually representing something else entirely. In this case LOVE. The simplicity of the name CREAM really sends that idea home for me because sometimes the things that make us the happiest are often the most simple. True LOVE doesn't expect anything from you and gives unconditionally changing the world for the better. Now why we don't LOVE is largely because the people who know how powerful it is. LOVE has the ability to dethrone those in power by making people so generous to their fellow man that everything we do would be for the betterment of all ending world hunger, sickness, and a loss of purpose. If we fear and hate each other then we leave ourselves vulnerable. Our thoughts become clouded with loneliness and our neighbors become our enemies causing us to close up becoming blind to the world around us and it's suffering. We start to think "Oh well someone will come along and take care of that," instead of being the change we want to see in the world. DOKI, you are one of the growing numbers of people who inspire that change and I love your work for that. Keep doing what you do because it really does make a difference in the world. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU.

Cannot be unseen!!! What dirty things have i been doing all these years!!! roflmao You just ruined my childhood! I hope your happy with yourself! lol

A really good work. It's simple but it accomplishes its goal. This game does what a lot don't. It may be basic but its doing the basics very well which is where every game creator should start.

Not bad...

It was pretty good. The music in particular was relevant and a nice touch but there were some gameplay issues. I found the unresponsive and slow movemont of whatever it is your flying a little annoying especially when you start going really fast. There were times when the bars were so packed together that it was impossible to pass at faster speeds. Im assuming this game is about reflexes and skill but there were times when it was based on pure luck because of the ever increasing concentration of the bars and speed. This could have been easily fixed if the control was faster and more responsive. The power rings made the game more challenging but if you picked up two or more quickly it paractically blinds you. Going as fast as you are after about two minutes i actually tried to avoid them because that fraction of a second you cant see can really make a difference. Also the game was fun for a little while but the repetitive look of the game made it get boring really fast. I had fun playing it but just not for long.

Kind of disappointing...

Although the animation were good as always fact that there were no sounds and only one thing you can do to her left the game without the same clean finish that many of your other works have like [ZOO-PHILIA].

love it

pirates of the carribean is one of my favorite movies and since this is the themesong then i have to say i love it. Also it is a very good remix of the song with a good use of bass and drums, but still not better than the original, but i will give you a 5/5.

Hmmmmm

Its different ill give you that.

Iritating at first

The beggining sounds were very irritating. But like a warhead the song started out sour and made the switch to sweet. I nice piece of work.

The feeling is there...

but practice is the key to getting your point across. The piece feels like the majority was drawn in the time that u listened to the music u described. (fireflies is a very inspiring song) Not to say that is a bad thing. Some of my best works were done in a flash because of inspirational music. The question any artist has to ask themselves when their finished with a piece is "am i really finished" and I've found that the answer is usually no. The piece will never really be finished until another person can look at your piece and literally feel the same feelings u have when u look at it.

Verspar responds:

Wow for a long time I was wondering what you meant. I was thinking that you had some sort of good reason, but I wasn't sure what it was, now that I look at it, it doesn't seem to be a set picture, I noticed that way too long after. the images are so far apart and they have no correlation with each other. It doesn't take anyone back in time. It gave me a little peace in mind, but I'm not driven back to what the image was meant to show.

And for that, I thank you, knowing you are an artist, I do think that your score was a tad bit on the supportive side though. Seeing the image now, I feel like it deserves a smaller score.

I have to agree...

This reminds me of Treasure Planet too.(Reviewer below) The picture has a very science fiction feel to it. The lighting gives it a really warm feeling and the sunlight light streaming through the opening in the distant clouds was done flawlessly. In fact, there are no flaws in this piece to speak of. Very well done!

One of my favorite themes...

I've always been a fan of medieval themed games, movies. and of course art like this piece. It has a very dark and mysterious feel to it but at the same time it has an adventurous feel as well. I like the roughness of the image which emphasizes the darkness. The only problem i saw with the image is the sky surrounding the bird and in the brighter areas doesn't share the same smooth look of the the rest of the picture. It looks pix elated and a little blocky. This is only a small problem though and doesn't take away from it too much. Very nice work!

Stunji responds:

Actually it's not pixelation, it's texture- It helps it feel a little rough around the edges, which is something I like. It's inherited from traditional painting, where seeing the brush strokes is stylistic- alot of digital artists use stuff like that in a similar vein, but thank you for the review! I appreicate it.

If you can impress me with a flash, music or art then ill give you a good rating. Also, Im honest so if you make crap then i wont hold back.
